At the Department of Corrections, our teachers are entrusted with bettering its residents who, for one reason or another, have fallen off their educational path, but are looking to remedy that.

Residents of the Department of Corrections are encouraged to get their degrees, but classes are completely voluntary, which means you will have a classroom full of students who actively want to learn.

Our teachers help their students to grow and become functional members of society and witness them achieve great success following their release. It is an incredibly rewarding experience.

If you’re looking to put your skills as a teacher towards a noble cause, and you want to make a noticeable difference in the lives of your students, as well as society as a whole, then a career with the Department of Corrections is for you.

You can change their future, and your own, for the better.
